The Debt tells the story of three government agents sent on a mission in the 1960's to capture a Nazi officer, now living his life as a doctor. When their plan goes bad, they conspire to agree to a lie, covering the truth of their past, and each character becomes tormented over the years by the falsehood they have lived and profited from. To complicate matters, the one female and two male agents wind up in a love triangle, which also affects them after they leave their tours of duty.
The Debt is more drama than action, with solid acting by all of the actors who represented the three agents, both past and present. All of the characters invoke empathy, with each of them having solid reasons for their very different feelings on what has long been a complicated struggle for forgiveness and redemption.

The Storyline of The Debt
Rachel Singer is a former Mossad agent who endeavored to capture and bring to trial a notorious Nazi war criminal-the Surgeon of Birkenau-in a secret Israeli mission that ended with his death on the streets of East Berlin. Now, 30 years later, a man claiming to be the doctor has surfaced, and Rachel must go back to Eastern Europe to uncover the truth.
